Finest olive oils, fresh vegetable from the farmers of the surroundings. Lemons, mandarines and oranges grow in the gardens here. Fresh caught fish from the clear Adriatic sea prepared on the grill. Maybe you like it spicier? Why not try a lamb prepared in whole on a spit over a fire place. Local cheese, served with thin cut slices of Dalmatian ham? The Mediterranean cuisine is not only very healthy, it tastes great!

Of international five vineyard zones, divided by number of sunny days annually and temperature, are found in Croatia. A good part of the Dalmatian population is involved in wine making. Excellent grapes grow very well in this climate like Plavac Mali, for the production of strong red wines. Among the white grapes, we have to mention Debit and Kujundžuša. The desert wine Prošekwas very popular already with the Romans. Along with local wines, many internationally known grapes grow in this region, like the white, gray and blue Burgund; Merlot, Cabernet Souvignon, Malvasia, Riesling or Muskat and Zweigelt.
